Fish Skinning methods<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There are different skinning methods which are accorded to the application and customer needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Deep Skin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When is requested to remove a layer of fat of the fillet. The gap between the skinning shoe and the toothed roller can be sensitively adjusted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Regular Skin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The thin skinning method when the silver mirror is not desired. The gap between the skinning shoe and the toothed is minimal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Silver Skin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The silver mirror stays on the fillet, the yield will be increased with no loss of fish meat. Not applied for all fish species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Skinning principles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The product (raw fish) which is to be processed (skinned) is either fed by hand (manually) or by infeed conveyor belt (automatic).<\/p>\n\n\n\n As soon as the fish touches the toothed roller, the skin is caught between the teeth of the roller and the fish is skinned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A cleaning system evacuates continuously the skin to a skin collector underneath the machine. A water spray on the cleaning system is necessary to avoid the accumulation of skin and waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Basic elements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 3 basic machine elements to skin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Skinning shoe, Toothed roller and Cleaning system. This 3 elements work in balance for the good skinning results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Skinning shoe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Skinning Shoe is divided in 2 parts, the bottom which is fixed on the machine and the top part fixed on the bottom part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are 2 different holding systems fixed to the top part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each type of skinning shoe is designed for the machine model and skinning method and\/or specific applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Toothed roller<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The toothed roller must be chosen according to the type of fish and skinning method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The number of teeth doesn\u2019t change the diameter of the toothed roller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The difference is the distance and depth of the teeth on the toothed roller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The less teeth on the toothed roller means a bigger distance and depth of each teeth (more aggressive);<\/p>\n\n\n\n More teeth on the toothed roller means less distance and less depth of each teeth (less aggressive).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cleaning systems<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The cleaning systems are made to keep the toothed roller clean, removing the skin after skinning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Without a cleaning system the toothed roller will not grip the skin due to the remaining skin on the roller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Different cleaning system are available according to the kind of toothed roller.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1366,"menu_order":31,"template":"","food_of_washing":[116],"productgroep_food":[127],"toepassing_food":[133,108],"productgroep_washing":[],"class_list":["post-1064","producten","type-producten","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","food_of_washing-food-processing","productgroep_food-automatic-skinners","toepassing_food-automatic-skinners","toepassing_food-fish"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
